  27. From everything I have gathered, the following is what I perceive to be
  28. a POSSIBLE March '96 unveiling.
  29.  
  30. 1)  Re-Designed Motherboard
  31.  
  32.     a.  Two Fast-RAM sockets (EDO Compliant?)
  33.     b.  68EC030/40Mhz (Upgradeable to full 030)
  34.     c.  68882 (FPU) socket
  35.     d.  Fast/Buffered Serial Port (Especially if they are going to push
  36.         the Netster bundle!  Can improve to 28.8 option then.)
  37.  
  38. 2)  Upgraded Paula Chip
  39.  
  40.     a.  Allow for true double-spin High Density floppy drives!!
  41.     b.  Allow better through-put for 16-bit Audio. (Not sure of specifics
  42.         on this point.)
  43.  
  44. 3)  House it in a Super-Mini Tower
  45.  
  46.     a.  Lose the 'toy' (ala C= 64) look.
  47.     b.  Include at least one Zorro III slot above what the A1200 currently
  48.         has.

  50. Now, for me personally, while I do see it as a good idea, Point #3 is not
  51. mandatory.

  53. On the other two points, however, anything less is not enough!  Any further
  54. comments or 'realistic' suggestions would be great.

  57. Amiga will offer?
